Codepiko

Drive the robot.
Read the sensor.
Write your first line of Python.

Codepiko is a workshop that teaches coding step by step. It starts with a 25-level block coding map and continues with robotics sensor missions, AI experiments and Python exercises.

Curriculum

Five sections. Each one opens on its own, in any order. There are 35 badges to earn in total.

  1. 01

    Block coding

    6 worlds · 25 levels

Put commands in order to get the robot to the flag. The first world only has “move forward”; later worlds unlock loops, conditions, while, variables and functions. Finish a level with the fewest blocks to earn 3 stars.

  2. 02

    Robotics

    6 lessons · 6 sensor missions

Each mission explains a sensor with a real-time game: brake before the wall with an ultrasonic sensor, follow a line with an infrared sensor, sort cargo with a color sensor.

  3. 03

    AI lab

    9 lessons · 7 experiments

Experiment with small but real models that run in your browser: train a classifier with your drawings, tune the weights of an artificial neuron, build sentences with a mini language model and catch a chatbot making things up.

    Python

40 exercises · runs in the browser

The step from blocks to real code. Code runs in your browser and you see the output right away. If you get stuck, a hint opens first and the solution comes last.

    Drawing workshop

    13 pen blocks · 6 recipes

No puzzle here, just a blank page. Kids draw their own picture with move, turn and repeat blocks and discover angles and loops by trying. The program also shows as Python, and the picture can be downloaded.

    Practice

    35 questions · 6 mini games · 47 glossary terms

Review what you learned in short sessions. Questions get harder, from remembering to analyzing, and every answer explains why it is right or wrong.

For grown-ups

Do I need an account?
No. Progress, stars and badges are saved in this device's browser and are never sent to a server. If the browser data is cleared, the progress is cleared too.
Where can I see progress?
The parent report shows completed levels, collected stars and earned badges on one screen. Open the parent report
Are there ads or fees?
No. There are no in-app purchases either.
In what order should we go?
The block coding map lays the groundwork for the other sections; finishing the first two worlds is a good start. After that, follow the child's curiosity.

Level 1 has a single block: Move forward.

Move the robot four squares to reach the flag. Everything else opens from there.
